Financial Manager - Parow Industrial Western Cape

1. Financial Planning & Analysis Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts Monitor financial performance against budgets Provide strategic financial advice to management Analyze profitability and cost structures 2. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly management accounts Compile income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Present financial reports to directors/shareholders Ensure accurate and timely reporting 3. Cash Flow Management Monitor daily cash flow Manage debtors and creditors Ensure sufficient working capital Oversee bank reconciliations 4. Compliance & Tax Ensure compliance with South African Revenue Service (SARS) regulations Manage VAT submissions and PAYE Ensure statutory payments are made on time Prepare for audits and liaise with auditors 5. Cost Control & Risk Management Implement internal controls Identify financial risks and recommend solutions Monitor expenses and improve efficiency Prevent fraud and financial mismanagement 6. Team Management Supervise accounting staff Train and mentor finance team members Oversee payroll processing Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA) advantageous Minimum 35 years experience in financial management Key Skills Strong analytical ability Leadership and management skills Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, Xero) Excellent Excel skills High attention to detail Strong ethical standards
