Warehouse and Logistics Operative

1. Warehouse Maintenance & Stock Handling o Maintain and manage the warehouse facility, ensuring proper storage, accessibility, and cleanliness. o Assist with stock organization, movement, and general upkeep of the warehouse. 2. Receiving & Inspection of Stock o Receive units and components from couriers, inspecting them for damage (especially glass). o Note any damages on the courier waybill and retain a copy for records. Also log photos of any damages o Allocate received items to stock or designated clients based on delivery notes or relevant documentation. 3. Stock Counting & Replenishment o Perform routine stock counts of units, parts, pellets, and components. o Notify management of shortages and assist with stock replenishment as needed. 4. Installation Prep & Parts Handling o Assist with preparing units and parts before installation or delivery. o Assign, paint, and cross-check parts for accuracy before installation. o Notify installation teams when units are ready. 5. Loading, Unloading & Deliveries o Load and unload stock, ensuring proper handling and storage. o Deliver units and wood pellets to sites and assist with offloading. o Ensure prompt deliveries and collections to minimize lead times. 6. Servicing & Technical Support o Assist with the servicing and calibration of pellet units, with training provided to work independently. o Assist with servicing wood log units and develop hands-on technical skills. 7. Firebox Installation Assistance o Assist with installing fireboxes according to technical guidelines and safety standards. 8. Product Assembly o Assemble Kamado Ceramic grills before dispatch if required. 9. Warehouse Collections & General Duties o Collect stock and materials from the Fourways warehouse when needed. o Assist with general warehouse upkeep and organization. 10. Continuous Learning & Skill Development o Improve industry knowledge and hands-on skills through training, self-study, and practical experience. Drivers license and own transport to work essential Physical strength and stamina for warehouse and loading/unloading duties Stock handling and warehouse organization Ability to follow technical guidelines Basic knowledge of tools and assembly Strong attention to detail Team player with good communication skills Willingness to learn and develop hands-on skills
