Bridge Engineer

We are seeking a Bridge Engineer to join a leading engineering consulting firm in Gauteng or Cape Town . This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated civil engineer to contribute to the design, analysis, and delivery of bridge and infrastructure projects across South Africa. Key Responsibilities: Design, analysis, and detailing of bridge structures (concrete, steel, and composite) Preparation of engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications Participate in feasibility studies, site investigations, and design reviews Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery Ensure compliance with South African design codes (SANS) and industry standards Support construction supervision and technical guidance on site as required Requirements: BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering 3 years experience in bridge or structural engineering Strong knowledge of structural analysis software Understanding of loadings, materials, and design codes applicable to bridges Excellent problem-solving, technical, and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a project team Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
