Our client, a well-established organisation operating within the insurance claims assessment space is seeking an experienced Appliance Repair Service Technician to join its Cape Town team. This role focuses on diagnosing, assessing, and reporting faults on household appliances and home electronics as part of the insurance claims process. Key Responsibilities Inspect household appliances and home electronics to determine cause of failure Diagnose faults, conduct component testing, and reassemble units Triage technical issues and recommend solutions Attend on-site assessments at client homes when required Compile clear technical findings for insurance claim purposes Requirements Matric (minimum) Technical certificate or diploma Valid South African ID and Drivers license Basic to intermediate electronic component-level knowledge Proven experience as an appliance repair or service technician Competent with hand tools and testing equipment Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Professional, presentable, and client-facing
