Key Responsibilities Product Development: Lead the formulation and improvement of food products, ensuring they meet specific nutritional and sensory profiles. Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain strict food safety standards and quality control protocols throughout the production lifecycle. Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure consistent product output. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products and labeling comply with local and international food safety regulations and standards. Laboratory Testing: Conduct chemical and physical analysis of raw materials and finished goods to guarantee excellence. Requirements Education: A Bachelors Degree in Food Science or Chemistry is essential. Experience: Proven experience within a food manufacturing or processing environment (experience with fruit processing or cooperatives is highly advantageous). Technical Skills: Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and HACCP/ISO quality systems.
