Deputy Store Manager

A corporate Retailer has a vacancy for a Store Manager in Polokwane. The successful Candidate will be responsible for the following duties: Deliver excellent Customer service and service excellence putting the Customer first. Deliver against all set targets as per the store's scorecard. Coach and develop individual team members to deliver against their job profiles. Ensure effective implementation and execution of all selling, promotional and operational initiatives. Seek opportunities to increase sales and maximize returns on space and stock. Balance service levels by meeting required productivity benchmarks. Identify, develop and retain staff. Ensure operational processes are effectively implemented and maintained. Promote brand values. Consistent and active communication and engagement with managment and staff. Matric. Previous experience with running a retail store at senior management level. Must have experience in fashion and foods retail within branded stores. Ability to drive sales and targets. Strong people management skills. Training and development. Performance management. Customer service focussed and drive service excellence.
