Cleaning and Degreasing: Removing grease, scale, sand, silt, and foreign objects from residential, commercial, and municipal sewer lines. Root Removal: Breaking up and cutting through tree roots that have invaded sewer pipes. System Maintenance: Performing routine, scheduled maintenance for businesses to prevent future backups. Industrial Cleaning: In industrial settings, they may clean tanks, heat exchangers, process equipment, and remove coatings or rust. Safety Adherence: Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards, particularly by using proper equipment and protecting surrounding areas from high-pressure water spray. Documentation: Providing documentation for jobs performed, including reports on the state of the infrastructure. Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate and troubleshoot high-pressure pumps and machinery. Knowledge of Plumbing Systems: Understanding of sewer layouts and pipe materials. Safety Focus: Strict adherence to safety protocols when dealing with high-pressure water. Physical Stamina: The job requires handling heavy hoses and working in various weather conditions.
