This role requires a strong payroll professional who is confident in bookkeeping, statutory compliance, and able to take full ownership of the payroll and bookkeeping function from day one. More About The Company: Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing organisation based in Pretoria, focused on operational excellence and financial accuracy. They are seeking a dedicated professional who can ensure payroll integrity, maintain financial records, and support reporting requirements with precision and confidentiality. Location: Pretoria, South Africa Salary: R18,000 R22,000 per month (depending on experience and software competency) Working Hours: Full-Time Available Positions: 1 Start Date: As soon as possible Key Responsibilities: · Payroll Administration: Full payroll processing for all employees (weekly/monthly). · Manage wages, salaries, benefits, allowances, and deductions. · Submit PAYE, UIF, and statutory reports. · Perform accurate payroll reconciliations. · Respond to payroll queries promptly. · Bookkeeping: Daily recording of financial transactions. · Perform bank reconciliations. · Maintain accounts payable and receivable. · Complete monthly bookkeeping close-off. · Support financial reporting requirements. · Systems & Tools: Ensure data integrity in accounting systems. · Provide backup support for general financial administrative tasks. Job Requirements: · Matric · Minimum 35 years payroll experience (wages and salaries). · Strong understanding of payroll legislation and statutory compliance. · Confidence to take ownership of payroll and bookkeeping functions. · Excellent numerical and organisational skills. · Ability to work independently. · Ability to work under pressure. · Proficiency in Sage (Payroll) primary payroll software. · Proficiency in Xero bookkeeping and accounting. · Proficiency in Pastel accounting system. Advantageous: · Experience with MIBCO. · Experience in a small business environment. Pos Vereistes: · Matriek · Minimum 35 jaar ervaring in salarisadministrasie (lone en salarisse). · Sterk begrip van salariswetgewing en statutêre nakoming. · Vermoë om volle eienaarskap van salaris- en boekhoufunksies te neem. · Uitstekende numeriese en organisatoriese vaardighede. · Vermoë om onafhanklik te werk. · Vermoë om onder druk te werk. · Vaardigheid in Sage (Salaris) primêre salarisstelsel. · Vaardigheid in Xero boekhouding en rekeningkunde. · Vaardigheid in Pastel rekeningkundige stelsel. Voordelig: · Ondervinding met MIBCO. · Ondervinding in n klein besigheid omgewing.
