Bookkeeper to Trial Balance

A reputable company operating in the retail hospitality sector, requires a bookkeeper to trial balance Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage the financial records for the company. The role requires someone familiar with industry-specific transactions such as fuel costs, crew payments etc DUTIES: Maintain accurate daily financial records (income, expenses, invoices, and reconciliations). Process supplier invoices, track payments, and manage accounts payable. Handle accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments from customers/wholesalers. Reconcile bank, credit card, and fuel accounts. Track vessel operating costs (fuel, repairs, insurance, fees) Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external accountants. REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the maritime, fishing, or logistics industries. Matric Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping software (e.g Pastel). High attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple streams of revenue and expense categories unique to the fishing/boating sector. Strong communication and reporting skills. Matric (Grade 12) Deal with all local accounts
