Senior PHP Developer

New Year, New Beginnings! An exciting opportunity is available with my client for a Senior PHP Developer to join their team immediately. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing PHP-based applications while working on innovative projects in a forward-thinking environment. This role is perfect for a senior developer who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively, and contributing to architectural decisions. Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and maintain high-quality PHP applications · Work closely with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions · Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices · Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications for performance · Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions Required Skills and Experience · Strong experience with PHP and modern frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) · Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend services · Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) · Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies · Excellent problem-solving and communication skills The Ideal Candidate · Senior-level PHP developer with a passion for writing clean, maintainable code · Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team · Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented · Available to start immediately If this sounds like your next big move, I would love to hear from you!
