Introduction: To translate the sales and profit budget for the category into the most appropriate apportioning into the relevant components (i.e., stock, margin, provisions) and then to accurately forecast, monitor and analyse performance against budgets and make recommendations in order for the category to achieve its sales and profitability targets.
