This role requires a strong maintenance background, solid construction knowledge, and the ability to manage both on-site operations and administrative site functions. More About The Company: Our client is a property development and construction company specializing in the development of student accommodation across Pretoria. The company focuses on delivering high-quality construction and maintenance solutions while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strong project execution standards. Location: Brooklyn, Pretoria Salary: R45,000 R50,000 Working Hours: Monday Friday (Standard site and project-based hours) Available Positions: 1 Start Date: As soon as possible Key Responsibilities: · Manage day-to-day and planned maintenance projects across sites. · Oversee construction projects from approved plans through to completion. · Interpret building plans and coordinate the full construction process. · Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and municipal bodies. · Manage municipal submissions, approvals, and regulatory compliance. · Coordinate services roll-out (water, sewer, electrical, fire, etc.). · Prepare and manage project budgets, costings, BOQs, and timelines. · Monitor quality control, safety standards, and adherence to building regulations. · Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. · Manage on-site teams and resolve operational problems. · Handle site administration, including bonds, stock takes, equipment sourcing, banking, insurance matters, and related site documentation. Job Requirements: · National Senior Certificate (Matric). · 5 years relevant experience in construction and property maintenance project management. · Proven experience managing building processes, municipal requirements, and infrastructure services. · Advanced Excel skills and strong computer literacy. · Relevant qualification in construction, project management, or related field (advantageous). · Strong ability to cost projects accurately and manage budgets. · Own transport and valid drivers license. · Strong leadership ability and experience managing teams. · Excellent coordination, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. · Technology-driven and comfortable working with digital systems. Pos Vereistes: · Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat (Matriek). · 5 jaar relevante ervaring in konstruksie- en eiendomsinstandhoudingsprojekbestuur. · Bewese kennis van bouprosesse, munisipale vereistes en infrastruktuurdienste. · Gevorderde Excel-vaardighede en sterk rekenaargeletterdheid. · Relevante kwalifikasie in konstruksie, projekbestuur of verwante veld (voordelig). · Vermoë om projekkoste akkuraat te bereken en begrotings te bestuur. · Eie vervoer en geldige bestuurslisensie. · Sterk leierskapsvermoë en ervaring in spanbestuur. · Uitstekende koördinasie-, kritiese denke- en probleemoplossingsvaardighede. · Tegnologie-gedrewe en gemaklik met digitale stelsels.
