Maintenance Storeman

Advance your career in the FMCG industry as a Maintenance Storeman based in the Western Cape! This position involves overseeing and maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring compliance with company standards, and contributing to the efficiency of the maintenance department. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, receiving, and issuing of materials, tools, and equipment, maintaining stock control records, and performing monthly stocktakes. Your expertise in engineering principles, stock management, and adherence to safe working practices will be essential in supporting smooth operational performance. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in a workshop or engineering environment, with a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification. Strong knowledge of FMCG operations, food safety, and safe working practices is essential. You should be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with experience in C-works considered an advantage. Strong planning, organising, numerical ability, and attention to detail are key attributes for success in this role.
