Investment Analyst

We have an amazing opportunity for an Investment Analyst at an investment management company based in Johannesburg ! The main purpose of this role is: · To support and lead critical elements of the investment evaluation process, including assessing new investment opportunities and conducting financial analysis for follow-on financings. · To be actively involved in all areas of mezzanine funding and portfolio management while contributing to the company's impact investment mandate. We require a candidate with: · A minimum of 3 years experience in Leveraged Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Private Equity. · A graduate degree in Finance, Engineering, Accounting, or Law (technical or quantitative emphasis preferred). · Advanced financial analysis and modelling skills. · Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency. · Experience preparing credit papers for internal Investment Committee approvals. · A proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.
