Production Planning Manager

Company established in the household textile industry is looking for a suitable candidate for a Warehouse Supervisor role. Position is based in Jacobs, Durban. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Planning Manager located in the Durban Metropolitan Area. The Production Planning Manager who will report into the Chief Operating Officer, will be responsible inter alia for the following: · Developing and overseeing production schedules · Managing a team of production planners · Planning internal and external production activities · Managing relationships between internal production departments and external CMT vendors · Co-ordinating quality control activities · Formulating accurate production forecasts based on planned sales and production volumes · Managing day-to-day operations in conjunction with the Head of Production The role involves ensuring efficient production processes and working closely with other departments to meet production targets and maintain quality standards. Qualifications & Requirements · Proven Production Planning and Production Management skills · At least 6-8 years Experience with developing and overseeing Production Schedules, Planning and Production Management · Strong Analytical Skills and general Planning skills · Excellent organizational and time management abilities · Ability to work well in a team-oriented and deadline driven environment · Bachelors degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering or related field · Previous experience in the textile industry will be considered advantageous This position will be appointed based on the candidate possessing the relevant skills, experience and know-how.
