Cloud Accountant

Were looking for a drivenCloud Accountantwith solid hands-on experience to join our growing finance team. This role suits someone whos confident with day-to-day accounting, comfortable working with clients, and ready to step into more responsibility within a cloud-based environment. What Youll Be Responsible For: Managing daily bookkeeping and transactional processing Performing bank reconciliations and processing supplier and customer transactions Preparing and assisting with VAT, PAYE, income tax, and provisional tax submissions Maintaining CIPC records and handling relevant statutory submissions for clients Assisting with the preparation and review of monthly management accounts Supporting month-end close and analysing financial statements and management reports Delivering client-related outsourced finance servicessuch as invoicing, debtor management, etc. Leading and supporting Xero implementations for clients Contributing to process improvements and automation engagements Working closely with senior accountants and management while mentoring more junior team members where appropriate What We Offer Ongoing mentorship and professional development Opportunities to grow within the company Exposure to a diverse client base across multiple industries Market-related salary (negotiable based on experience) SAIPA traineeship available What Were Looking For Diploma or Degree in Accounting 2 years of practical accounting experience Strong working knowledge ofXero(Xero Advisor certification is advantageous) Experience withPayspace or SimplePayis advantageous Draftworx/CaseWareexperience is advantageous Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail with a solutions-focused mindset Willingness to work extended hours when deadlines require it Eager to grow in a fast-paced, client-focused environment Ability to work on-site between our office and client locations as required
