Minimum Matric (Grade 12) . Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle. Preferred Diploma or Degree in Sales, Business, Engineering, Electrical, or Renewable Energy . Formal solar or renewable energy training/certification (advantage). Experience 35 years experience in new business sales , preferably in: Solar PV (Commercial & Industrial) Renewable energy Electrical / engineering solutions Capital equipment or technical B2B sales Proven track record of closing new business deals . Experience selling high-value projects (R500k multi-million rand). 🛠Skills & Competencies Strong hunter sales mentality with excellent closing ability. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills . Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in a commercial manner. Financial acumen ability to explain ROI, payback periods, and energy savings . Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. Strong CRM and MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint). Professional, trustworthy, and client-focused. 📊 KPIs / Performance Measures New business revenue generated. Number of qualified C&I opportunities created. Conversion rate from proposal to close.
