Site Manager

Key Responsibilities Manage daily site operations for ventilation and ducting installation projects. Lead and coordinate a dedicated on-site installation team . Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards , and project timelines. Liaise closely with mechanical engineers, project managers, production staff, and draftsmen . Conduct site visits prior to installation to assess requirements and plan resources. Plan projects efficiently, including the hiring of installation equipment (e.g. cranes, cherry pickers, scaffolding). Prepare and maintain safety files for each installation, ensuring full compliance with site regulations. Monitor and report on project progress , proactively resolving on-site challenges. Maintain consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Requirements Matric (Grade 12) essential; a technical or engineering qualification advantageous. Proven site management experience in the mechanical or HVAC industry. Strong understanding of ducting systems and installation processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Must be hands-on and comfortable managing site activities directly. Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to various project sites.
