About the Role We are seeking a commercially minded Financial Business Partner to join our growing team based in Sandton. This is a hands-on, in-office role for a qualified management accountant who thrives in a fast-paced retail and wholesale environment and enjoys translating financial insights into meaningful business decisions. You will partner closely with senior leadership and operational teams, providing financial guidance, performance analysis, and strategic support to drive profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted finance partner to commercial and operational stakeholders Deliver accurate management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis Provide insightful financial modelling and business cases to support strategic initiatives Analyse margins, costs, and working capital across retail and wholesale channels Support pricing strategies and profitability optimisation Develop dashboards and reporting to track key performance indicators Identify risks and opportunities through detailed financial analysis Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting Requirements CIMA qualification (completed or near completion) 38 years experience in management accounting within retail, wholesale, distribution, or consumer electronics Retail and wholesale experience is essential Expert-level Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial models; Power BI advantageous) Strong analytical capability with the ability to convert data into commercial insight Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Comfortable working in a fully in-office environment in Sandton If you are an analytically strong finance professional looking to make a real commercial impact, wed love to hear from you.
