Purpose of the Role: The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming and directing visitors, notifying staff of arrivals, and managing incoming calls and messages. The role also coordinates boardroom bookings and provides administrative support to all departments, ensuring smooth office operations and a professional workplace environment. Key Responsibilities: Front-desk reception and professional greeting of all visitors Answering and directing incoming calls Managing the reception area and maintaining a professional front-office environment Basic administrative support duties Receiving, recording and distributing deliveries and mail Managing appointments and meeting room bookings General office support as required Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric Certification Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Outlook, email, internet) Fluent in English (Speak, read, and write) Good communication skills (verbal and written) Professional appearance and manner Friendly, reliable, and well-organized Willingness to learn and grow in an administrative environment. Other: Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00 Candidate must have a clean criminal record. Reliable transport to and from work.
