Data Engineer Bellville, Cape Town Responsibilities: Bachelors degree in engineering Proven experience in data flow optimisation and automation Proficiency in tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, and Power BI Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions such as GCP, Azure Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, optimise, and implement improvements to data flow architecture to ensure efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Identify and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies in data pipelines. Collaborate with teams to streamline data collection, integration, and transformation processes. Develop and implement automated reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy. Optimise existing workflows to enable automated, scalable reporting. Ensure automated reports are aligned with business needs and are easily accessible to stakeholders. Interpret large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions.
