Hydraulic Technician

CTS Trailers, a leading manufacturer of truck and trailers is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems on trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate will ensure all hydraulic components operate safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production and service environment. Key Responsibilities: Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance. Replacing or repairing defective hydraulic parts. Testing hydraulic equipment and systems to ensure proper function. Fabricating and installing new systems. Requirements: Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Vocational training, a certificate, or an associate training in hydraulics or a related mechanical field. Experience: Typically, 35 years of experience in hydraulic systems, maintenance, or a similar mechanical role. Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and blueprints. Diagnostic Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair components like cylinders, pumps, valves, and motors. Knowledge: of low-pressure hydraulic systems 190 bar (advantage) of hydraulic power pack systems 24V (electrical over hydraulic advantage) Physical and Other Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in a shop or field environment, and possess a valid driver's license. Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime or be on call for emergency breakdowns.
