Our client is expanding and has a role as an Actuarial Expert. The candidates will be reporting to the Director of the General Insurance team and providing actuarial and technical assistance to clients. The same division is responsible for Enterprise Risk and Capital Management and Data Analytics. Qualifications: · Bachelors degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, etc · Strong proficiency in statistical modelling techniques and programming languages such as R · 5 8 years experience in General Insurance, either in pricing or reserving and capital modelling · Qualified Actuary · Advantageous if you have the short-term insurance practicing certificate. · Experience with SAM, ORSAs, valuations and solvency calculations will be beneficial · Strong work ethic and highly motivated. · Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written in English), with proven ability to convey complex messages clearly and with conviction · Ability to meet deadlines and provide regular feedback on progress. · Attention to detail Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your updated CV attached to finance.jobs@tumaini.co.za , alternatively contact our team on XXX-XXXX or visit our website, www.tumaini.co.
