CRANE DRIVER

Primary purpose of the job Reporting to the Team Leader, this position requires the services of an individual to operate and control an overhead crane to transfer heavy objects from one level to another. Key Performance Areas Lift, move & place tools at press line Conduct daily inspections on crane. Keep tool storage area clean and well organized. Replace tool covers at storage area. Place airpins correctly at the draw bolsters by using airpin mats. Ensure that all bolsters are cleaned (slugs etc.) prior to loading new tooling. Knowledge and Skills required. Manufacturing process Good eye-hand co-ordination. Minimum Requirements NQF4 / Matric Valid Crane driver licence Min. 1 year experience in the manufacturing environment
