Job title: Fitter (Hydraulic Experience) Location: Durban (Paper Division Sydney Road) Description: A leading recycling and waste management company is looking for an experienced Fitter with strong experience in hydraulics and maintenance on baler machines to join their team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing hydraulic systems and related equipment within a busy paper division, ensuring optimal machine performance and minimal downtime. The role requires site-based work as well as travel to various client sites. Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic systems and baler machines Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on hydraulic and mechanical equipment Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to Attend to breakdowns and minimise production downtime Travel to different sites/clients as required Ensure compliance with health and safety standards Requirements: Qualified and experienced Fitter Strong hydraulic experience (maintenance on baler machines or similar equipment) Proven fault-finding and repair skills Valid drivers licence Own reliable transport (preferred) Willingness to travel to various sites Benefits: Salary: negotiable.
