Senior Accountant (Paarl)

Our client, a global fruit export company based in Paarl, is seeking an on-site Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Solid financial acumen, along with strong verbal and written communication skills, is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Debtors processing, credit insurance and debtor management *Managing weekly payments to Growers (handling the process from start to finish) *Creditors processing *Bank Processing *Processing transactions and journals *Audit and independent review preparation *All other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: BCom Accounting or Finance related qualification; 3 years experience in a similar accounting role; Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles and practices; Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel (Sage Pastel advantageous); Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans and English); Own reliable transport.
