Field Operations Manager (Western Cape)

To manage all operational activities for the specified areas FMCG retail and wholesale syndicated sales and merchandising services, ensuring that sales and merchandising standards are consistently met to optimise client product availability and representation in retail and wholesale outlets. The role will focus on driving consistent operational excellence, improving efficiency, maintaining high standards across synergised service operations and supporting the companys growth and profitability objectives. Key Outputs Team Management: Ability to build and develop functional teams, plan, organise and control work outputs through others effectively, whilst ensuring functional team dynamics and organisational policy and legal compliance in all team management practices. Planning and Organising: Ability to establish a course of action for self or others to accomplish a specific goal through effective planning, appropriate assignment of personnel and appropriate allocation of other resources. Operational Excellence: In-depth understanding of operational processes and best practices in the FMCG sector and wholesale and retail environment. Analysis: Proficiency in analysing data and making data-driven decisions. Communication: Ability to communicate in both verbal and written formats. Problem-Solving: Ability to address operational challenges and effective implement solutions. Flexibility: Adaptability to manage changing market conditions and operational demands. Customer Orientation: Commitment to meeting and exceeding client and customer expectations. National certificate in business administration, Retail Operations Management, or equivalent qualification. 2 years of experience in operations within the retail and wholesale sector, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, sales, and merchandising excellence in a complex, fast-paced environment. Experience in managing large, distributed teams and working with retail and wholesale partners across large areas.
