Factory Manager

Minimum requirements: Grade 12 or relevant NQF 4 qualification Management qualification will be a advantage 4 years plus experience as a factory manager or in managerial positions Factory floor/Production flow and staff management experience is non-negotiable Experience within the steel/metals industry will be beneficial Be willing to work overtime when necessary, but at least 1-2 Saturdays a month Key Responsibilities: Production and Operations Management Quality Control and Compliance Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and company policies People Management and Leadership Ensure accurate control of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Monitor production costs, labour efficiency, and material usage Review daily, weekly, and monthly production reports Support on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery performance. Ensure factory operations align with customer expectations and service levels Drive process improvements across production, quality, and logistics.
