CNC Setter/ Operator

To manufacture hydraulic components as per drawing and at times per sample. To set CNC Machine tooling according to drawing / program specifications. Job Description Manufacturing Machining of different hydraulic components according to drawing specifications and following the job card, as procedure for manufacturing Setting and operating of CNC Lathe and CNC Machining centers De-burring of all manufactured parts. Machine maintenance Function Set up and use measuring instruments/devices according to own interpretation of complex specifications/drawings. Includes using standard statistical process control techniques for problem solving and for non-routine adjustments. May require the use of mathematical calculations. Repetition drill sharpening by machine Deburring by hand and/or by griding and/or portable power tools Check, prepare and mark own blocks Operate a milling machine Skills Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric)/N3 or equivalent. Basic mechanical skills. Minimum of 4 years in manufacturing. CNC Milling & turning basic courses. Be able to measure accurately with precision measuring instruments.
