Senior Estimator – Civil Infrastructure - Major Infrastructure & Construction Projects

THE OPPORTUNITY A senior-level opportunity for a highly experienced Civil Estimator to play a pivotal role in pricing and securing large-scale infrastructure and construction projects. This position suits a technically strong, commercially astute professional who thrives in complex tender environments and high-pressure deadlines. KEY REQUIREMENTS Degree / BTech / ND in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying 15 years experience in civil infrastructure, construction management and/or estimating Advanced proficiency in CCS Candy, MS Excel and MS Projects Strong working knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, GCC 2015, COLTO, COTO and SABS 1200 Proven ability to interpret BOQs, drawings, specifications and tender documentation Strong analytical, numerical and commercial acumen Valid Code 8 drivers licence CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates and project programmes Analyse drawings, quantities, specifications and technical data Identify contractual risks, pricing exposures and tender strategies Source, evaluate and negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricing Compile compliant, professional tender submissions Assist with tender handovers and maintain cost and production databases PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Detail-driven | Commercially sharp | Structured thinker | Deadline-focused | Performs under pressure CONTRACT & REMUNERATION CTC: Market-related, dependent on experience Contract: Permanent or Fixed-Term 📩 Apply via: The-Recruiter.com
