Junior Debtors Clerk

About the Company We are a well-established and growing company with both a strong online presence and a walk-in retail operation. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Debtors Clerk to join our finance team. Key Responsibilities Capturing and allocating customer payments accurately Maintaining debtor accounts and ensuring records are up to date Following up on outstanding accounts via phone and email Sending statements and reminders to customers Assisting with monthly debtor reconciliations Liaising with sales and management regarding account queries General administrative and finance support duties Minimum Requirements Matric (Accounting or Mathematics advantageous) 13 years experience in a debtors or junior accounting role Basic understanding of accounting principles Experience with accounting software (Sage, Pastel or similar advantageous) Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Fluent in English Quickbooks or other accounting software.
