Product Application Specialist

In all ways to assist the Divisional Manager in duties pertaining to the effective functioning of the SleepNet-BreatheNet Home Ventilation Program in Pretoria. To assist with the function of the Home Oxygen service in the region. Tasks and responsibilities Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to healthcare providers and end-users Providing technical support and training to healthcare providers and end-users to ensure the safe and effective use of medical devices Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities Providing feedback to product management / quality team on the features and performance of medical devices Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the medical device industry, including new products and technologies Participating in trade shows and other industry events to promote medical devices and provide technical support to customers Qualifications and Competency Criteria Essential: Grade 12 pass Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, engineering, nursing or healthcare or Diploma such as EEG Technician, BLS or BAA. Job specific in-service training to understand customer needs, and associated products o Proficiency will be determined by both theory test results and practical assessments o Periodic assessments and performance evaluations to assess ongoing competency Experience 2-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, healthcare industry or technical support Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Fluency in English and Afrikaans Strong written and verbal communication skills Drivers license code B (manual) Own reliable transport preferred / essential Ability to work well under pressure and with large volumes of work Display strong attention to detail Ability to multitask, prioritize and remain organized
