Repairs & Returns Technician

Job Description: The basic duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Ensure the daily operations within the department. Evaluate new products for NRCS Compliance. NRCS certification testing. Inspect lighting installations. Fault Finding and reporting on products and electronic components. Report on fault found onsite. Ensure all call out forms are completed correctly and keep a detailed record. Assist the technical team with technical reports and customer service. Adhere to SLAs. Maintain and improve the returns process to produce smooth and efficient system and delivery solutions. Manage overall inventory of return stock/stock control. Effective liaison, support and assistance to various departments. Reprting on a monthly basis or as otherwise required. Customer queries, meetings, etc. as and when required. General duties and adhoc tasks, projects and requests when required. Minimum Requirements: South African citizen and ID , residing in Johannesburg. Matric (Preference will be given to a candidate with related tertiary education). Current, valid, legal South African drivers licence and reliable transport. Min 3 years technical experience. Electrical and technical knowledge is compulsory. Thorough understanding of inventory of returns and returns process. High degree of integrity and honesty in all dealings. Excellent communication skills at all levels. Computer literate with good Excel and SYSPRO experience will be highly advantageous.
