Our client, a wine estate situated in Stellenbosch, has the above position available for an organised individual with good financial acumen, paired with the ability to work accurately under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Capturing supplier invoices *Liaising with suppliers regarding purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc. *Liaison with relevant departments regarding weekly and monthly payments *Preparing weekly payment schedule *Supplier credit applications completing and submitting for approval *Performing supplier reconciliations *Capturing monthly credit card statements *Reviewing daily cash-ups and reconciling payment methods *Preparing cash deposit book and arrange banking *Reviewing of petty cash schedules *Filing documentation *Assisting with annual audits and archiving *Ad hoc administration within the admin, finance and HR department. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: Tertiary qualification in Admin / Accounting is not critical, based on experience; Minimum 5 years experience in a similar financial support role; Excellent communication skills (English and Afrikaans); Knowledge of WineMS, Sage Pastel Accounting (Pastel Partner).
