DISPATCH SUPERVISOR

Our client, a well-established operation in the agricultural sector, is seeking to appoint a hands-on and driven candidate to oversee staging, inspection and dispatch operations within a fast-paced packhouse environment. DISPATCH SUPERVISOR Hoedspruit Requirements: · Grade 12 or equivalent with a Diploma or short course in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field (preferred) · CSCP or equivalent supply chain qualification will be advantageous · Short course in Transportation & Logistics · BRC/HACCP awareness · PPECB inspection and sampling procedure training · Health & Safety and First Aid awareness · Supervisory / Team Leader training · Internal audit and corrective action knowledge · Packhouse experience will be advantageous · Strong knowledge of outbound logistics and stock rotation (FIFO) · Understanding of PPECB, BRC/HACCP, transport regulations and labour legislation · Computer literacy (MS Office, Packsys, warehouse & transport systems) · Strong leadership, planning and communication skills · Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions Key Responsibilities: · Ensure smooth day-to-day running of staging, inspection and dispatch areas · Monitor stock movement across the floor, inspection and staging areas · Prevent operational downtime and ensure efficient truck turnaround (under 4 hours) · Ensure correct loading patterns, weight distribution and legal load compliance · Maintain strict communication with PPECB and ensure inspection compliance · Oversee quality control during load-outs to reduce claims and rejections · Monitor pallet ages and issue stock deviation alerts · Conduct staff training and ensure procedural compliance · Promote high employee retention through mentorship and fair performance management · Maintain accurate reporting, documentation and deviation tracking · Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and internal audit requirements · Resolve operational challenges and maintain high departmental standards To apply, send cv with reference MBDS to recruitment@ovdm.co.za by no later than 22 February 2026.
