Mechanical Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD (Full Suite or AutoCAD Focus) Develop and update structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings for mining-related equipment and infrastructure Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and site measurements Revise drawings based on engineering changes and production feedback Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and company specifications Collaborate closely with engineers, production, and project teams Maintain accurate drawing records and document control Minimum Requirements Proven experience as a Draughtsman in a manufacturing or mining environment Proficiency in AutoCAD Full Suite or AutoCAD Focus (essential) Experience in structural, mechanical, and electrical drafting (essential) Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings High attention to detail and accuracy Advantageous Experience within the mining or heavy engineering sector Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Key Competencies Strong technical and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Deadline-driven and well-organised Problem-solving mindset
