Position: Administrative Assistant Company: Bidvest Prestige Operations Key Responsibilities: - Provide administrative support to the finance department of Bidvest Prestige Operations - Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements - Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets - Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable - Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely payment and delivery of goods and services - Assist in processing payroll and employee expenses - Reconcile cash receipts and prepare bank deposits - Handle correspondence, including phone calls and emails, related to financial transactions - Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry Qualifications: - A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in the finance field - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively - Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices - A diploma or degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with other members of the finance team.
