SAIPA Clerk

Our client in the accounting sector is seeking to appoint a SAIPA Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting audits, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and professional development while working toward qualification as a Chartered Accountant or Professional Accountant. Class A (SAICA): Aspiring CA(SA). Completed Accounting degree and Honours. No prior work experience required. Writing first board exam (IAC) in January; employment commences in February. Class B (SAICA): Aspiring CA(SA). Completed Accounting (CA stream) degree with auditing as a subject. Currently pursuing PGDA/CTA part-time. Audit experience advantageous. Typically candidates completing articles while studying part-time or switching firms. SAIPA: Aspiring Professional Accountant (SAIPA). Accounting or finance degree completed or in progress, with audit as a subject. No prior work experince required Additional Requirements Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards (ISA, IFRS for SMEs), and regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in Caseware and Microsoft Office Suite advantageous. Reliable vehicle required for occasional client visits. Afrikaans preferred; willingness to learn essential if not fluent. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate leadership potential.
