Operator Gr4: Forklift

OPERATOR GR4: FORKLIFT (Grading B1) Job specification Grade 10,11,12 or equivalent qualification Certificated/ licensed to operate a forklift English proficiency and any additional language from 11 official languages Experience in trackless mining will be advantageous 1-3 years experience operating a forklift in a mining environment or industrial environment Must have Dover test results or will be submitted for Dover Declared Must be a legal South African citizen Clear Criminal Record Declared Medically fit for the position at our OHP Responsibilities Work a circle of shifts Responsible for operating the forklift Assist with and monitor preventative and breakdown maintenance during shift (fill up fuel, oil, lubrication, etc.) Be observant/ vigilant during loading, offloading, stacking and safe storage of goods and any other related duties Report any damages on goods offloaded or loaded to relevant stakeholders Ensure that the machine is in good operating order and report any faults and inconsistencies to supervisor (s) and controller (s) Always take instructions from the supervisor responsible for the area/ work place Adhere and comply with health and safety standards and regulations Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1 Groups safety motto : Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely
