Mechanical Draughtsman

Seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman to join an engineering team and play a key role in the design and detailing in a heavy engineering manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings Prepare layouts, GA drawings and fabrication details Work closely with design engineers, production and project teams Update and maintain drawing registers and revisions Ensure all drawings comply with company and industry standards Requirements Diploma or qualification in Mechanical Draughting or similar 3 years experience in mechanical draughting Experience in steel structures, mechanical assemblies or heavy equipment (cranes, conveyors, plant, mining, or manufacturing equipment highly advantageous) Proficient in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks / Inventor Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and BOMs High attention to detail and accuracy
