CNC Operator - Parow Industrial

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to set up, maintain and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines. You will be responsible for producing high-quality precision parts and ensuring the machines are running efficiently and accurately. ROLE PURPOSE Programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machining. Measure and verify all calculations prior to setting up the machinery. Enter all relevant codes to specify the feed, speed, and cut of any toolpath for a CNC. Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, drawings and work instructions. Loading and unloading workpieces and CNC production equipment. Monitoring machining operations and performing quality control checks. Following safety requirements and maintaining certifications. Complete routine maintenance of their machinery. Maintain a clean and organized working environment. Shift work. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Skills Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings. Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude. Strong comprehension and analytical abilities. Good computer and mathematical skills. Understanding of Fanuc controls Experience on Vertical CNC lathes will be advantageous Qualifications Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage. 3 years experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
