Registered Nurse Theatre Trained/Experienced

A well-established orthopaedic day surgical environment in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking an experienced Theatre Registered Nurse to support high-volume, precision-driven procedures. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced surgical setting and understands the demands of specialised theatre workflows. Requirements: Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, with Midwifery being essential. Post-basic qualification in Theatre Nursing will be advantageous. Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience within an operating theatre environment. Proven competence in scrubbing, assisting, and maintaining strict sterile technique. Strong understanding of theatre protocols, instrumentation, and patient safety standards. Current registration with SANC.
