Service Technician

How you'll role In the role of Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will use your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring the functionality and efficiency of equipment. Working both independently and as part of a team, you will deliver high-quality service to meet client needs and standards. What you'll do Represent the company professionally at all times, adhering to dress code and conduct standards Arrive punctually and prepared for each workday Ensure proper job preparation, stock management, and readiness before attending customer sites Provide exceptional customer service and take care to protect customer property Follow all reasonable instructions from the Franchisee or Operations Manager on-site Maintain and repair ventilation and air-conditioning systems in accordance with job cards Identify and report potential maintenance risks on equipment Work overtime when required to meet operational demands Use tools and equipment safely and appropriately, maintaining them in good working order Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with health and safety regulations Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to colleagues when needed Maintain accurate daily logs and records of maintenance activities Comply with manufacturer standards, service guidelines, and customer requirements Assist with customer queries and ensure effective communication Conduct thorough site clean-up upon completion of work What you'll need 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry Grade 12 qualification Valid driver's license (code B) Proficiency in servicing, diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating
