Role Overview The Projects Administrator will provide structured administrative and coordination support across multiple container deployment projects nationwide. The role is Johannesburg-based but reports directly to the Cape Town Branch Manager. The client is based in Stellenbosch, and weekly online project coordination meetings are held to track progress, milestones and deliverables. This role requires a proactive, detail-driven individual who understands structured project environments and is comfortable working with technical teams, suppliers and client stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Project Administration & Tracking Maintain project trackers and progress schedules Compile and update project status reports Coordinate timelines with internal teams and contractors Track deliverables and follow up on outstanding actions Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and action lists Documentation & Compliance Control Maintain project filing systems (electronic and structured folders) Manage document registers (drawings, specifications, test sheets, certifications) Compile handover packs and compliance documentation Track safety files, compliance certificates and QA documentation Ensure version control and accurate record keeping Procurement & Inventory Support Process and track delivery notes Assist with procurement documentation and purchase order tracking Monitor supplier lead times and delivery schedules Track inventory related to container builds Maintain asset and serial number registers where required Client & Stakeholder Coordination Attend weekly online client coordination meetings Provide structured project updates Liaise between Johannesburg operations and Cape Town management Follow up on client requests and action items Financial & Administrative Support Assist with project cost tracking Support invoice processing and documentation flow Maintain structured reporting systems Provide general administrative support to the project team Minimum Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification (Project Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration or similar) 35 years experience in project administration or project coordination Experience working in engineering, infrastructure, electrical or technical environments Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office Experience managing structured project documentation Advantageous Exposure to telecom infrastructure or power systems Experience in compliance documentation and safety file compilation Understanding of procurement workflows Experience working in multi-site or national rollout projects Key Competencies Strong organisational ability High attention to detail Structured and methodical approach Clear written and verbal communication Confident in online client meetings Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proactive follow-up and action tracking Ideal Candidate Profile This role suits a disciplined, detail-oriented project administrator who is comfortable working within technically complex environments.
