Role Overview The Sales Administrator will provide structured oversight and coordination of the entire sales function. This role is not purely administrative it is analytical, strategic and operational. The successful candidate will ensure the CEO has real-time visibility into: Sales pipeline status New project opportunities Market trends Reasons for lost projects Pricing performance Sales team activity and performance metrics The role will enable informed decision-making around stock planning, product introduction, marketing strategy and pricing. Key Responsibilities Sales Pipeline & Performance Oversight Maintain and manage an accurate sales pipeline register Track new project opportunities and probability weighting Monitor monthly and annual sales budgets Analyse win/loss ratios and document reasons for lost projects Produce structured monthly sales performance reports for the CEO Identify sales trends and emerging opportunities Sales Administration & Coordination Oversee quotation processes and follow-ups Support invoicing coordination and documentation flow Maintain CRM and customer database integrity Coordinate internal and external sales activities Organise and coordinate sales meetings Strategy Execution & Reporting Assist in executing sales strategies set by management Monitor implementation and measure results Provide structured feedback to management on performance gaps Support pricing strategy management and margin tracking Market & Customer Intelligence Conduct market research and competitor analysis Gather customer feedback Track industry developments within telecom and data centre sectors Identify product gaps and new market opportunities Sales Content & Governance Develop and maintain sales policies and processes Maintain a structured sales content repository Standardise proposal templates and pricing schedules Assist in developing account management structures Sales Team Support & Development Support and coordinate training initiatives Assist in motivating and aligning the sales team Help structure account and product management responsibilities Ensure professional, customer-centric service standards are maintained Marketing & Product Support Coordinate product marketing materials Assist with social media content development Support digital channel development Assist with product launches and internal training coordination Minimum Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification (Business, Marketing, Sales Management, or similar) 5 years experience in sales administration, sales operations or commercial coordination Strong analytical ability and experience with sales reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience managing CRM systems Experience working in technical, engineering or infrastructure-based environments Advantageous Exposure to telecom, power systems or data centre markets Experience in pricing strategy or margin management Experience supporting product launches Understanding of stock forecasting principles Key Competencies Highly analytical and detail-oriented Commercially aware Strong reporting and presentation skills Structured and process-driven Confident engaging with senior leadership Strong communication and coordination ability Proactive and self-driven Ideal Candidate This role suits a commercially minded sales operations professional who enjoys structure, data analysis and strategy implementation.
