Diesel Mechanic

Minimum requirements: Minimum 5 years proven experience maintaining and repairing tractors, specifically John Deere, Landini and New Holland Minimum 5 years experience working on TLB, Graders and Matriarch machinery Minimum 5 years experience maintaining and repairing HINO, TATA and UD trucks, as well as forklifts Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, electrical systems and hydraulics Proven ability to diagnose faults accurately and carry out repairs independently Valid drivers licence Own reliable transport Willing and able to work overtime when required Willing to be on standby over weekends and respond to breakdowns Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, service and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, including tractors, trucks, TLBs, graders, forklifts and related machinery Identify and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication and inspections Conduct routine servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard Maintain accurate service and repair records Respond to breakdowns after hours and over weekends when on standby Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations at all times Consultant: Rene Otte - Dante Personnel Greenstone Apply via our website www.dantesa.co.za If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful
