Junior Mechanical Engineer

We are a dynamic manufacturing company specializing in precision components for industrial filtration systems. We are looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and support our machining and manufacturing operations. Main Responsibilities: Mechanical design using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor) Produce detailed drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation Perform calculations and design reviews Prepare and issue job cards for machinists and manufacturing teams Review assessment reports for repair components and prepare detailed technical reports based on findings Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet company and industry standards Support manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly teams Ensure compliance with engineering standards and quality systems Participate in project planning and continuous improvement initiatives Strong technical knowledge of heavy engineering, mining, or industrial equipment National Diploma / B.Tech / Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 3 years (or more) of mechanical design experience Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor software Experience in heavy engineering, mining, or industrial equipment Practical, hands-on mindset with exposure to factory/manufacturing environments highly advantageous Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and assessment reports Good communication and teamwork skills
