Trainee Accountant

Responsibilities: Assist in preparing annual financial statements according to relevant accounting frameworks. Execute audit procedures to ensure the accuracy of client financial records. Prepare and submit tax returns including VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax. Perform data entry and bank reconciliations to maintain management accounts. Ensure all work adheres to current accounting standards and legislative requirements. Compile working paper files and documentation for senior review. Requirements: Completed Accounting Degree plus Honours or CTA. Highly motivated with a strong desire to gain experience in a professional accounting firm. Committed to completing professional training competencies (SAICA/SAIPA). Strong academic background with a focus on financial reporting and taxation.
