Key Responsibilities Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements from finance, product, and technology stakeholders into comprehensive functional specifications and business requirements documents (BRDs) Conduct requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to define business needs and objectives Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases for product development and system enhancements Perform gap analysis between current state and future state requirements, proposing viable solutions Analyse end-to-end financial operations processes to assist in identifying operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities Design and document optimised business processes Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across finance, risk, compliance, and operations Ensure business solutions comply with financial services regulations, risk management frameworks, and internal controls Lead or participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), creating test scenarios and validating delivered solutions against business requirements Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, system specifications, and business analysis artifacts Qualifications & Education Business Analysis Professional certifications Experience Requirements Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3-5 years in the financial services, banking, or FinTech sector Demonstrated experience in process automation projects, including process discovery, analysis, and implementation Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, business process modelling, and business requirement documentation Experience working with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and finance professionals Attributes High attention to detail and commitment to quality Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong ownership mentality Able to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities What We Offer The opportunity to work across two of South Africas most exciting fintech brands.
