Our client, market leader in the South African Roadside Assistance Services, is currently recruiting a permanent position for a Marketing and Communications Manager , based in Gauteng . Job overview: The Marketing and Communications Manager develops and delivers integrated marketing and communications strategies for internal and external audiences. The role focuses on creating engaging multi-channel content, strengthening brand and reputation, and supporting customer demand through targeted campaigns and effective messaging. Key responsibilities include contributing to product and service innovation, providing strategic marketing support aligned with business plans, and developing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy and plan within approved budgets to support organizational objectives and business units. Duties and Responsibilities: Marketing and Strategy Develop and implement an integrated Marketing and Communications Strategy aligned to organisational strategic objectives Drive customer acquisition campaigns across business units using customer insights, data a nalysis, and market research Develop business cases for projects, quantify value, and assess ROI Define campaign targets aligned to sales objectives for direct and indirect channels Identify and implement communications strategies to promote products and services Collaborate with sales, operations, and other business units to ensure campaigns are appropriately planned and resourced Manage the marketing and communications budget effectively Campaign Management Plan and execute campaigns aligned with customer value propositions and predefined targets Manage campaign briefs and oversee execution by agencies and service providers Procure and manage above- and below-the-line creative, PR, web, and media requirements Negotiate advertising and media rates to optimise budget performance Launch, monitor and measure campaign performance and analyse results to determine ROI Brand and Reputation Management Develop and implement brand strategies supporting organisational and product strategies Position and differentiate the brand across customer segments and channels Maximise brand value through targeted value propositions and campaign alignment Manage and safeguard organisational and brand reputation Operational and Leadership Responsibilities Develop and execute an overarching Marketing and Communications Plan across all business units within approved budgets Conduct risk and impact assessments for projects and campaigns and develop mitigation plans Lead and manage departmental resources to ensure successful strategy implementation Ensure alignment and integration between marketing, communications, and sales functions Perform related duties as required by executive leadership Minimum Requirements: Education and Experience: Relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., BCom or equivalent qualification ) BCom Marketing would be advantageous Minimum 8 years' experience in a services environment At least 5 years' experience in a senior marketing management role Experience in strategic planning, campaign management and channel marketing Proven project and programme management experience Demonstrated people leadership and team management experience Digital marketing experience advantageous Proven copywriting and publication development experience Knowledge and Skills:
